Fastweb + Vodafone is a partner of the Digital Journalism Fest, the first festival dedicated to the evolution of digital information and communication, which will take place on Saturday, March 22, at BASE Milano, located at Via Ambrogio Bergognone da Fossano, 34. The event, conceived by journalist Francesco Oggiano, will provide an opportunity for experts in journalism, content creation, and innovation to discuss the challenges and opportunities of today’s information ecosystem.
Through meetings, panels, and masterclasses, the festival will explore key topics such as social journalism, the impact of artificial intelligence on the job market, and new tools for digital content creation. The goal is to foster dialogue between the world of information and the public, contributing to a deeper awareness of the sector's evolution.
During the festival, Walter Renna, CEO of Fastweb + Vodafone, will participate in the talk "How Will We Work in the AI Era?" alongside Benedetta Giovanola, holder of the first European chair in AI Ethics. This live recording will become the latest episode of "Sulla Soglia. Il mondo che ci aspetta." The podcast, launched to celebrate Fastweb’s 25th anniversary and hosted by Francesco Oggiano, is a journey that explores today’s biggest questions by looking to the past and confidently moving toward the future. It features expert voices from the Italian cultural landscape, including Ruggero Rollini, Ester Viola, and Alberto Pellai, along with insightful external contributions.
Fastweb + Vodafone's support for the Digital Journalism Fest aligns with the company’s strategy to promote an innovative and inclusive digital culture. The goal is to contribute to a more accessible, transparent, and aware information ecosystem while enhancing the role of technology.
